Even though I’ve got the process down and am always pretty confident I’ll pass (and so far I always have), I’m still always a tiny bit nervous until I get those final results back from the lab. One thing I get asked about a lot is Sure-Jell, or Certo (same thing). Whenever I’ve talked to someone that passed with Sure-Jell, every single person has told me that they also diluted. But most of the people I’ve talked to who used Sure-Jell didn’t pass, either because they didn’t dilute at all, or because they diluted too much and the testing lab failed them for it. If you’re thinking about using this method because someone you know passed with it, ask them to tell you exactly what steps they used. I bet you discover the same thing I did.

Not only is it useless for passing a drug test, you can actually cause permanent damage to your liver if you overdose on it. And then there are other miracle cures: cranberry juice (diuretic, just makes you pee more), vinegar (changes the PH of your urine), etc. etc. etc. You get the idea. Believe me, I know it’s overwhelming when you see how much wildly different information there is on the net about how to pass a drug test. You’d think it’d be easy to find out, but man, it is not. In the end it comes down to an entirely personal decision, but when it comes to specifically how to pass a urine test, I hope I’ve at least given you some food for thought. I’m not saying there’s not good information out there, but before you choose a method to go with just take everything you read with a grain of salt, verify your sources, and above all, ask lots of questions.

Beating saliva drug tests is easy too. Maybe even easier. For one thing, they have a really short detection period, unlike urine drug tests. If you know you have to pass a saliva drug test a week ahead of time, you can just stop smoking for a week and you’ll be clean by the time you take your test. But if you don’t have a week, you can probably still pass by cleaning out your mouth super, super good (including under your tongue), flossing, and swishing for a long time with a non-alcohol mouthwash.

Save your money and don’t buy expensive ‘secret formula’ detox products, because they’re big on marketing hype but short on actual delivery of info on how to pass a drug test. Just go hang out on a pot forum and read all the sad stories of people who wasted tons of money and failed their test anyway.

How to pass a drug test really isn’t any big secret. It’s just a matter of sticking with what actually works, instead of getting panicked and gambling your future on detox products made by companies that won’t even tell you how they work.

Everyday I email back and forth with people who need to pass a drug test. So this subject has become a part of my everyday life, and I take it dead serious. First off, taking niacin to pass a urine test not only doesn’t work, it can actually be dangerous. Just google ‘niacin poisoning’ to see what I mean. It’s serious shit when you take 100x the recommended daily dose of ANYTHING.

But even if you didn’t have to worry about going into liver failure from taking too much niacin, the bottom line is it doesn’t work for passing a drug test. Here’s the kicker, though – this rumor got started years ago because of a ‘detoxification program’ invented by L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology. This guy claimed to have visions or something that made him an expert in everything from the human body to nuclear engineering. No offense to any Scientologists out there, but do you really want to get advice about passing a drug test from this guy?

The reality is, passing a urine test is pretty straightforward. Of all the ways to pass a drug test you can find out there, simple dilution is the only one you can count on to work. Of course you have to make sure the testing lab doesn’t know you’re diluting, but there are lots of ways to handle that. You can take B-12 to make sure your pee is yellow, and drink things like Gatorade so that it passes the gravity test.

Passing a saliva drug test is even easier, since they have such a short detection time. If time is on your side, and you can handle it, you can just abstain for a week and you’ll pass, guaranteed. But if that’s not possible, you still have an excellent chance of passing a saliva test by cleaning your mouth VERY thoroughly.

Bottom line, passing a drug test is a lot easier than you might be thinking it is. Take a deep breath, relax, and use your common sense when you’re wading through all the bogus ways to pass a drug test being sold on the Internet.

But since it’s a pretty good bet that you’re asking because you’re a pot smoker who’s got a test coming up, maybe what you should really be asking is: “Do I need to be worried about whether or not I can pass a drug test?” Because the thing is, if you can HIDE the fact that you smoke pot, then you don’t even need to worry about how long does marijuana stay in your system.

Here’s an example:

Smoker #1 gets high several times a day – every day – and he has for years. But he knows exactly what he needs to do to get a false negative on a drug test, whether it’s a urine test or a saliva test. So, not only is he able to pass any drug test that gets thrown his way, he also never loses any sleep worrying about how long marijuana stays in your system. To him, it just doesn’t matter.

Smoker #2 just shares a bowl with one of his buddies once or twice a month. But he has NO clue how to pass a drug test, and he wouldn’t know how to get on the Internet if it sneaked up and nipped him on the butt. Since pot can show up in a test for a month or two AFTER you stop smoking, there’s a real good chance that this poor guy will fail – even though he hardly ever gets high.

Once you know how to do that, then you can stop being paranoid about whether or not you can pass a drug test. I know that feeling, and it totally sucks.

The plain fact is that you aren’t going to find any information on the Internet that will give you definite peace of mind about whether or not pot will still be in your system when you show up for your test. But hey, wouldn’t it be GREAT if there was somebody who could tell you, “okay, according to our calculations you won’t have any THC in your system after next Tuesday at 4 o’clock”? But down here on Earth, that just ain’t gonna happen.

Fortunately, how to pass a drug test isn’t that hard. At least, not once you wade through all the sales hype out there written by companies who want you to buy their expensive detox products. People DO successfully pass drug tests, every day, and they never lose any sleep worrying about how long does marijuana stay in your system.
