How to pass a drug test depends on two things: 1) the type of drug test that you’re going to be taking, and 2) the toxins in your system that you need to hide. But hands down, the most popular illegal drug all over the world is pot. And unfortunately, the toxins it leaves behind last longer than just about any other drug out there. Which means that most people who are looking for information about how to pass a drug test are marijuana users.
The information you’ll find on this website is specifically for pot smokers, and it all got started when I had to start taking drug tests at my place of employment. What I’ve learned about how to pass a drug test has been a real eye-opener, to put it mildly. Probably the biggest shock is how much money we smokers spend (millions!!) on products that don’t even have a chance in hell of actually working. Desperate people will take desperate measures, and the companies who sell detox products are counting on it.
There is no ONE detox method that will work for every kind of drug (regardless of any marketing hype you may have read), because different toxins are metabolized in our bodies in different ways. The method I recommend for passing a urine drug test for pot is dilution, but dilution probably won’t help you if you need to know how to pass a drug test for any other substance. I just got offered a sick proffesional dance job straight out of college and one of the policies was to pass a urine drug test.
I am a straight up pothead ! I smoked everyday for about 2 years and I was freaking out… I am 5’6 and 130 pounds.. I am very athletic and dance daily, and I dont drink alot of water but i drink alot of fluids… oh and i also pee more than the average person and have low thyroid hormones which makes my metabolism slower…
anyways…i stopped smoking for 20 days and on the 21st day i went to a LAB and took my urine drug test…i didnt take any detox or pills but on the morning of the test i drank a glass and a half of water, a half a glass of tea and a half a bottle of gatorade and pissed 6 times beforehand… my 7th pee was the drug test
now im not sure if i have an angel watching me but i passed! so chill out, dont stress and if you fail… well you shit out of luck =)
First to the 17 year old who just got out. Be honest, trust me. The first one never counts. I got out on pretrial release a few years ago and sure enough with in minutes of walking out the jail they tested me. Literally walked across the street and took a test. I was just like fuck it, even told the deputy I’ll see ya in a few minutes when he told me what I had to do. They straight up told me, tell us the truth, we expect you to be positive, we just want to see it change. I was honest, I was positive, I was fine.
Since then I have been on probation for several years. P.O hadn’t tested me in a while but I’ve never failed (I abstain now, nothing is worth doing state time or any time really). Just went no more than a few hours ago. I am prescribed Dilaudid for a painful disease which I rarely take. This morning however I awoke to excruciating pain to discover that I was out and no refills left and no time to wait for the doctor to open and all the bullshit. Had a few Percocet left from when my girl got her wisdom teeth out. Took one without even thinking. Went to see my P.O and sure enough, here’s your cup! And this after telling me she’s trying to get me released no less! I told her the complete and honest truth. She said thanks for being honest, I’ll get it later, see ya next time.

To anyone out there sweating. If you have a good relationship with your P.O, they see you trying. Tell them the damn truth! Trust me, they don’t even want the hassle of doing the paperwork. If you’re fucking up constantly you leave them no choice. Hell my brother had to fail over and over for everything under the sun to finally get violated.
And to anyone getting tested for work. They don’t watch you piss. Bring someone else’s piss, it’s simple, put it in a balloon and tape to your leg to keep it warm. Hell my job tests you on the spot, no clinic, right there. But they don’t even watch you go into the bathroom. They just hand you a cup and you bring it back when you have to go. Me being clean I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve taken tests for people. People I don’t even know! Because I don’t give a shit what people do and its fucked up people prying into what we do!
As far as passing on short notice? I have a buddy who works for Budwieser and they do randoms too. He smokes occasionally. He gets only hours warning. He drinks an insane amount of water and has never failed, even after smoking with in a day or two. I have also used the same method in the distant past. It works but we’re talking like a gallon or two with in a hour or so. Basically your body is trying so hard to even out your electrolytes because this can be lethal that it doesn’t even give time to filter out anything else really. And take some B vitamins and creatine but he passes without even that. This works but it really can kill ya, be careful.
For saliva? No clue really, but everything I’ve read puts the window pretty short, like a day or two after use.

well this all depends on the last time you smoked. i just took a piss drug test and i last smoked two or three weeks ago. it was a home drug test my dad bought. ne way i passed but my dad thought i had my sister piss for me. he bought another one and im waiting to take it. my method for passing is to drink water nonstop, if your testing alone pour 5 to 6 drops in the sample. this may be going pretty far but if you might get searched tie the visine around your krum “lightly” and your good to go.

Lotsa of stupid shit up in here…I’m an expert on urine tests only.
1. saliva is spit and salvia is that fake weed crap and no one is testing for that.
2. Exercise if you have time, DONT exercise for a day or two before the test, THC is stored in fat cells, you burn them and it is released. Eat high protein stuff for 24-48 hours before the test. Putting fat on wont allow the dispersal of THC from the current fat cells.
3. The fatter you are the longer it takes to pee clean.
4. Drink lots of water and take a vitamin B pill 2 to 4 hours before the test, makes the pee yellow and arouses no suspicion.
5. 7 to 10 days for a skinny person who drinks a lot of water and doesnt burn fat cells before the test. 10 to 21 days for a fat person who makes sure not to burn fat cells before the test.
6. If you havent smoked in 2 or 3 weeks, stop stressing yourself, you’ll pass.
7. If you smoked yesterday, take a gun and start shooting. You’ll go to jail for murder but they wont care about the pot in your system.

Good way to detox is if you happen toblive in an area with some natural hot springs you’ll be pretty good if you go and sit in there for a few hours.

Have heard that three iodine water purification tablets mixed with a liter of water will clean your system out. Make sure to follow that with another liter of water and stay hydrated. May be a good idea to take creatine and B vitamins so your diluted urine wont look suspicious. Greasy foods will darken your urine color. Probably a good idea to start this a few days before you know you have to pass a drug test. This mixed with a few days of abstinence(more than a few days for those of us with a higher body fat%) should result in a negative result. My brother swears by this and I’m about to put it to the test. Wish me luck.

In my past I had passed a piss test after ten days of being clean. BUT! I only smoked maybe once every two weeks prior. i drank alot of water and exercised. But it took longer than 24 hours to pass. If you have to take a urine test with a short notice best thing is to find someone that is clean that you can trust to pee for you.

I am always baffled by the number of people who smoke pot verses the number of people who force us to pass a freaking drug test. I mean let’s be honest, if we do well in an interview why would they think we are different when we pull a bud off of a plant and light in on fire. I am an avid smoker. been so for ten plus years. I’ve also had several urine screens in that time period. I’m happy to say that I’ve never failed one.. Urinater was the last method I used but I found it to be to nerve wracking. something about waring a fake penis and strapping a plastic pouch of synthetic urine to my body had me really nervous when I was sitting in the clinic’s waiting room.. I have cleared my system naturally several times. Each time I did it with green tea, fibrous foods and lots of meats (red). personally, maybe because I have a low body fat percentage, I was able to clear my system naturally within a weeks time.. Eating meat can help stock up your creatine (spelling?) which allows you to dilute a little more without being caught. Still I prefer and usually give myself a few days of not smoking, i get some megaclean or a similar product and follow directions carefully. It’s never failed me. But make sure you pee enough that your urine isn’t neon colored when you get to the clinic. NO CAFFEINE BEFORE YOUR TEST!!
I found the best way is abstinence, a lot of walking in the sun, lots of tea, apple juice and water. My first test, I stopped smoking 6 weeks before the test. The second, 3 weeks before the test. I took a test on Monday after abstaining for one week. I get the results on Friday so I’ll let you know how it worked out. I am tall, of a slim build with a very fast metabolism so my method may take longer for the more rotund.

I read that if you take that too close to time to the test, the test will come back “too clean”! Not even the things that are normally in your pee will be there. So then they know you cleaned your system. They can’t prove it or get you in trouble for it but they are likely to retest you!

To, Kansas, sorry this might be too late to be any good to you, but according to everything I have read about Salvia/blood drug test for THC, these are more user friendly tests. They are simaliar to a breathlzer test for alcohol, meaning they are concerned more with current level of impairment, than your drug use history. From what I read, over the internet, the range of THC detection is from 12 hours to 24 hours and can be 3 days at most, I know that is a big window of time, but I am just telling you what I have read, which is better range than a urine test for a regular smoker and heavy smoker such as myself. Personally I told my daughter (she thought she would have to take a salvia test for a manager position, but never did) to aleast allow for two days of not smoking weed. Norml and High times talks about this on their website, under drug testing which could give you more info. I hope that helps, and good luck.

this is what I know about saliva tests…the amount of time is alot smaller,24 hours to 4 days but I smoke everyday almost without fail, i enjoy it more than most people I know and I just had to take a saliva test that I had no clue about, I had some cepacol (sp?) cough drops that numb your whole mouth and they supposedly coat ur throat, they were the only thing I had with me so I popped one, and swirled it around my mouth til it was gone and my mouth was numb, I had smoked less than 12 hours before, and I passed, I can’t promise it was the cough drops but I have had alot of bad luck with drug tests, meaning I’ve failed alot because I smoke alot but this worked for me and I plan to keep them near just in case of another random drug test.

Guys just so you know its SALVIA, not Saliva, he’s asking how to pass a swab test. I passed one before by using mouth wash thouroughly, and rinsing my mouth with water, but who knows why I really passed. So if you have any advice let me know.

I used everyones suggestion to pass saliva test. I smoked 3 days before the test. Gargle with Listerine as much as you can. I also gargled with hydrogen peroxide. On the way to the test as I was using both of these I also bought those disposable tooth brushes and also starting chewing on Cepacol lozengers the kind that numbs your mouth
When I got there the lady giving me the test did not watch me well. I only rubbed the swab on my teeth and then gave it back to her after holding in my teeth for two minutes.
They test came back clean. Thanks all for you help
