How long does marijuana stay in your system is a popular topic, that’s for damn sure. And you can find a TON of regurgitated facts and figures on the Internet about it that all say basically the same thing: “it depends on your weight, your body fat, your metabolism…” YADA YADA YADA.
But since it’s a pretty good bet that you’re asking because you’re a pot smoker who’s got a test coming up, maybe what you should really be asking is: “Do I need to be worried about whether or not I can pass a drug test?” Because the thing is, if you can HIDE the fact that you smoke pot, then you don’t even need to worry about how long does marijuana stay in your system.
Here’s an example:
Smoker #1 gets high several times a day – every day – and he has for years. But he knows exactly what he needs to do to get a false negative on a drug test, whether it’s a urine test or a saliva test. So, not only is he able to pass any drug test that gets thrown his way, he also never loses any sleep worrying about how long marijuana stays in your system. To him, it just doesn’t matter.
Smoker #2 just shares a bowl with one of his buddies once or twice a month. But he has NO clue how to pass a drug test, and he wouldn’t know how to get on the Internet if it sneaked up and nipped him on the butt. Since pot can show up in a test for a month or two AFTER you stop smoking, there’s a real good chance that this poor guy will fail – even though he hardly ever gets high.
So the real key to this issue isn’t knowing how long marijuana stays in your system – it’s knowing how to make it LOOK like it isn’t in your system. Once you know how to do that, then you can stop being paranoid about whether or not you can pass a drug test. I remember that feeling, and it totally sucks.
The plain fact is that you aren’t going to find any information on the Internet that will give you definite peace of mind about whether or not pot will still be in your system when you show up for your test. But hey, wouldn’t it be GREAT if there was somebody who could tell you, “okay, according to our calculations you won’t have any THC in your system after next Tuesday at 4 o’clock”? But down here on Earth, that just ain’t gonna happen.
Fortunately, how to pass a drug test isn’t that hard. At least, not once you wade through all the sales hype out there written by companies who want you to buy their expensive detox products. People DO successfully pass drug tests, every day, and they never lose any sleep worrying about how long does marijuana stay in your system.

dont trip fool one hit doesnt even process into you system that shit will go right through your body a drug test needs a certain amount of thc metabolites to have a positive result.. if ur on probation or some shit and get tested like once a week you can pretty much smoke a lol snap to your dome the night after you test every week.. just make sure you get a lil excersize everyday and your cool.

hello I just want to let every one one my testimony i was involved in a fatal car accident on july 20th 2009 My best friend died I was the driver of the car there was another car that jumped in front of me and I tried to avoid the accident and my truck flip over several times. I hadnt smoked weed in three weeks prior to my accident and they found 0.069% of THC in my blood I am now being charged with homicide intoxicated while driving. We all feel good when we smoke but when life hits you in the face we all which we could change. Believe me its not worth smoking or doing any kind of illegal drug just say no Im facing 25 years and i am a singal parent with three children and it was an accident

im 5’7 weigh 130 lbs, last time i checked my BMI(body fat) was 4percent and have a piss test in 3 days i smoke daily, i am very active hiking on average about 40 miles a week and riding a bicycle about 12 miles every other day during the week.. my test is on Nov. 30th and i have not used since the 27th, since then i have hiked 19 miles and rode my bike about 18 in the 2 days, i have also sat in the sauna for about 25 minutes each day sweating vigourusly.. in these 3 days i have drank about a gallon of water each day and taking many mega vitamin/mineral packets…is there a possible chance i might pass?

I had a drug test every 3 days on Secure Probation..Me as a Cronic User i Had to find a way around it. Im 110 lbs soakin wet 1% body fat. Tonya, if your brother was completely clean when he took those 5 hits then he will definitely be clean in a week. If you don’t smoke often, or a lot, it only takes 2-3 days to get clean. Tell your bro to limit himself to once a week AT THE MOST, then his thc levels won’t build up and he’ll always be able to get clean in a hurry.

I am an ER/TRAUMA nurse and i would NEVER encourage someone to drink bleach!!! besides, if you had any brain cells at all you would think about it a little… since when do your fat cells (where THC is stored in your system) just magically dissolve and rid of themselves through your kidneys??? if that were true why in the HELL would it be so hard to lose weight??? the TCH is stored in your fat cells and without increasing your metabolism to burn some fat cells, and THEN trying to flush the biproducts of the burned fat cells out with WATER (NOT BLEACH) you will not be able to rid of the THC in such proclaimed rapid times. furthermore, the only thing bleach is good for is DISENFECTING and WHITENING… what the HELL makes you think it rids your fat cells of THC… its LETHAL to ingest…use your brains people…

It’s impossible to say for sure, there are too many factors involved. Best guess is somewhere between 3-6 weeks to pass a urine test naturally. Only way to know for sure is to just start testing yourself at home every week or so.

YO ozzy…little advice from a stoner. Ive been toking for 6 years I have smoked everyday for about 2 years straight up until a month ago.(got popped) so im 5’6″ and weigh 125…i run 2 miles a day, kiteboard for 2-3 hours a week…and hit the gym for 2 hours liftin weights every other day…it took me 30 days….straight up 30 days to get my first clean urinalysis…I was also drinking about a gallon jug of water each day for those 30 days. Be smart Be safe…if you gotta quit do it brotha…its hard to say its just pot…but its just pot…and if u feel like your fucked either way…invest in a bc field kit(synthetic urine)with a tube u tape to you dick. Yes, it’s possible to pass a drug test one day and then fail it on another day. For two reasons: it’s rare, but sometimes a test WILL give a false positive or negative. The other way it could happen is if you haven’t smoked for a long time and you’re right on the border of being clean. You might happen to drink more fluids one day without even thinking about it, which could be enough to dilute you just enough to test negative even though you’re not quite clean yet.

I have not smoked pot in over a year because I am probation. I get piss tested every 25 days and my color has come up today. Some friends want to get stoned this weekend and I want to know if I will piss clean in 25 days.
I don’t really exercise much and I’m 5’7 200 lbs. Probation is over in about 6 months and pot is not worth getting it extended for so I would only smoke if its a 100% guarantee that I will piss clean in 25 days.

I started doing home test.. every week.. it took 19 days for a faint line to show,,now clean for 40 day.. still shows the same faint line.. hope this helps someone.. going to continue testing to see if line gets darker, will be 60 days when i take the real test
